Cara de Pan is currently working on a proposal for an annual short-lived contemporary art exhibition in the public space in the city of San Sebastián.
Bai Public Art Encounters primarily seeks to broaden typical contemporary art audiences. It will achieve this by bringing the contemporary art experience to a non-specialist public.
By means of a scalable four-year project, BAI will foster encounters between the existing public sculptural heritage in the city and a non-specialist audience. Diverse itineraries and activities will link these works with new fleeting creations by Basque and international artists.
Installations, performances and interventions along a fixed route will encourage contact and enjoyment of this discipline and multiply opportunities for the public to learn and appreciate its various expressions.
These primary events will be complemented by a focus on the work of participating contemporary art galleries and other contemporary art activities.
