What we do

We conceptualise and manage art and cultural dissemination events and experiences, in any of their manifestations, for the public and private sectors alike. 

 We are particularly interested in projects that have the potential to involve both these sectors and to bring associations and institutions into the mix.

Mission

  • Art, culture and heritage are essential elements of social cohesion and foster relationships between the different parts of civil society. 

  • The overarching mission of Cara de Pan is to create opportunities to showcase cultural content, facilitating dissemination and promoting social transformation. 

  • Our goal is to enable broad, non-specialist audiences to access art and culture as tools for analysing the world around them. 


  • Our events use currently available analogue and digital tools to showcase content in a personal and entertaining way.

Process

We are always conscious of the region where any event is taking place and of its social and economic requirements. Knowledge of the audiences who will receive the proposed content – their idiosyncrasies, unique characteristics and interests – is crucial.
A quality production requires the utmost care over the works and artists involved. This is possible when the team feels that their basic rights are upheld: an appropriate salary, gender equality and inclusion of all minorities who consider themselves such.
Art and culture are economic drivers. The impact of any form of cultural action is boosted by the creation of links between businesses, associations and the cultural sector in each region. Our projects always seek to capitalise on existing initiatives.
Technology should be a tool and not an end in itself. Not all events need it, while others are enriched by what it offers.

Organisation and values

Cara de Pan collaborates with a vast array of suppliers in the cultural industries and other sectors. This enables us to put together ad hoc management teams and to capitalise on local teams in each region, when possible.
